Aug 5th
When you think about money, what goes through your mind? Do you think you’ll never have enough? That you have never been good with money? That it’s too hard to manage it. Do you justify your negative thoughts with comments like, “This is just the way it is, and I’ll always be struggling?”
I was talking with a woman the other day about helping her get her finances back on track. She said during our meeting, “My life is crazy busy.” She said she found herself saying that often. I looked at her and said, “You have yourself believing this because you keep repeating it to yourself,” and then proceeded to say to her that she was acting exactly as she thought she was supposed to according to what she had convinced herself into believing (that she didn’t have time for her financial life). Before my eyes, she had an aha moment! More >
