No More Money Excuses
Oct 15th
I’ve heard every excuse in the book as to why people decide not to focus on their financial life and make it better—mostly I hear that people are just too busy. Here’s the truth. Everyone is busy! When there is something that you really want, you find the time to do it, right? Okay, so you might be saying that you really don’t want to focus on your financial life, but that you do really want your financial life to look different?
Do you know what might happen if you decide not to make changes in your financial life? Do you know what would happen if you decide to make changes in your financial life?
Depending on the decision you make, will determine your outcome. What’s great is that you get to choose which financial path you want to travel on.
Honestly, there are things I don’t like doing either, like filing, cleaning the stove, folding laundry and my list goes on. I do know that I like the feeling of getting it done rather than leaving it for another day, an undefined, who-knows when day, and I feel successful when those things are completed.

Freeing Yourself from Credit Card Debt
Sep 30th
Do you worry about your ever-mounting credit card debt? Do you ever wonder how great you would feel if you didn’t have that debt on your shoulders to carry around every day? That’s a huge burden, and what is it really costing you? Quite possibly it might be costing you your health, distraction from living in the moment, and peace of mind.
What if you could live within your means every month, and maybe even have more money at the end of the month. How do you think you would feel? Maybe fabulous and free!!
First, it’s important to admit there is a problem instead of avoiding. Avoidance never takes you to where you want to go. It’s only temporary relief. And, here’s the scoop on problems. They are not some horrible thing. Problems are merely an opportunity to make change and to figure out a way to fix it, and when you do the fixing (eliminating your credit card debt), you’ll be left feeling successful and without any more debt!!
Once you decide that you’re ready to free yourself from your credit card debt, here are some actions you can take to say goodbye to that debt forever:

Four Reasons to Create a Great Relationship with Money
Sep 16th
Money is an integral part of how we survive from day to day. Doesn’t it make sense to have a great relationship with money? It’s going to be a part of your life for as long as you are here on earth. What does your relationship with money look like?
If you have an unhealthy relationship with money, it might look like this—bills get paid late which results in giving more of it away in late fees and interest, money goes from your pocket to lying around somewhere in the house, you spend it when you can’t afford to, you keep your money crumpled up in your wallet, you say bad things about money like, ‘it’s only money.’ Financial success starts with your relationship with money. Here are four reasons to have a great relationship with money in your life:
1. To live a life of financial peace. When you have a healthy and respectful relationship with money (paying your bills on time, spending money you can afford, creating a Money Plan), you’ll feel less stress and worry in your life. Instead of being preoccupied with money worries, you’ll be focused on living your life with more joy! I’ve seen clients go More >
Listening to Your Inner Money Voice
Sep 3rd
When you spend money, do you hear a voice saying to you, “I shouldn’t really be buying this,” or “How am I going to pay for this?” Maybe you hear no voice at all. Is it so buried that you wouldn’t even hear it if were screaming at you?
Recently, I happened to be at the same event, and at the same table, as one of my clients that I had just begun working with. Another woman at the table had brought some beautiful watches with multi-colored bands and was selling them. My client saw those watches and immediately went in like a vulture, grabbing its prey. It was clear that her money voice had been shut off and given no chance to speak. I asked her at our next appointment what she was thinking when she initially saw the watches. She told me that she couldn’t help buying the watch when she saw that it was pink! I knew then that we had some work to do!
Here are three questions to ask yourself before you make your next purchase or find yourself in an unexpected situation where there are pretty things!

“20 Ways to Have More Money in Your Life”
Aug 19th
Do you believe you can have more money in your life? You can! When you fully decide to commit to making financial decisions that will take you to your ideal financial life, you will begin experiencing financial abundance and peace. Here are 20 ways for you to have more money in your life!
1. Increase your income. Let your boss know at your next review how valuable you have been to the company. No need to posture about it, just present what you have done that brings value to the company, and then smile.
2. Spend money only on what you need for the next month. At the end of the month, put the extra money toward your retirement savings or start an emergency savings account. Realize how you feel at the end of the month—perhaps you didn’t really miss out on anything by just spending on your needs.
3. Hire an accountant. You may be making mistakes that are costing you or forgetting about deductions that will benefit you on your tax return.
4. Stay away from your money temptations. When you feel stress, instead of seeking relief by heading to the store to buy a new outfit (which is only temporary relief), More >

“Creating Healthy Money Thoughts”
Aug 5th
When you think about money, what goes through your mind? Do you think you’ll never have enough? That you have never been good with money? That it’s too hard to manage it. Do you justify your negative thoughts with comments like, “This is just the way it is, and I’ll always be struggling?”
I was talking with a woman the other day about helping her get her finances back on track. She said during our meeting, “My life is crazy busy.” She said she found herself saying that often. By repeating her negative thoughts (to herself and aloud), she continued to put herself in a place of being stuck, a place of no forward movement toward what she really wanted. Because she kept reaffirming that she didn’t have enough time to pay attention to her finances, it never happened.
I looked at her and said, “You have yourself believing this because you keep repeating it to yourself,” and then proceeded to say to her that she was acting exactly as she thought she was supposed to according to what she had convinced herself into believing (that she didn’t have time for her financial life). Before my eyes, she had an aha moment! More >

Planning Your Financial Success
Jul 15th
For those of you who don’t know, one of my passions is spending time with my horse, Hombre (he came with the name and it certainly befits him!). I bought Hombre when he was four and he was considered “green” (that means untrained). I didn’t have horse training knowledge. Actually, truth be told, I was considered “green” too (that means having little to no experience with horses). Okay, so you might be wondering why would I buy a young horse instead of an older, more seasoned one? Well, because I wanted to learn as much as I could to be a really good horsewoman, and I knew that I would achieve it if I bought More >
